Scribe is a standalone Paper chat, messaging, and communication plugin. It replaces vanilla chat with configurable channels, private messages, roleplay commands, and lightweight moderation tools.

What makes Scribe different?

Scribe uses standard legacy-style plugin messages for command feedback and MiniMessage for advanced chat formats. This keeps system feedback consistent while still allowing hover text, click events, and rich channel layouts where they are useful.

1. Complete Chat Formatting: Format global, local, staff, and admin chat channels using flexible MiniMessage tags.
2. LuckPerms Integration: Display custom prefixes, name colors, and message colors based on a player’s rank.
3. Basic Moderation: Block or rewrite spam, duplicate messages, links, filtered words, and excessive caps.
4. Roleplay Engine: Bring your RP server to life with commands like /me, /do, /try, and /roll.
5. Private Messaging: A built-in /msg and /reply system that fully supports formatting, ignoring, and Staff Spy.
6. Cosmetics: Let players change their nicknames (/nick) and choose their chat tags.
